Installation 01 June Trailer
Installation 01 is a 100% free Halo fan game and artistic tribute to the series. The above video is our latest trailer.

Our Goal is to bring a unique Halo multiplayer experience to Windows, Mac, and Linux. It will contain elements from multiple halo games (toggleable sprint, for example).
The release date is roughly 5 months from now. This depends a lot on who joins our team. We are always looking for experienced and/or talented team members.

Ok, questions: 1) What kind of technical requirements will be needed to play this game? 2) Will this be multiplayer only or will it have some sort of campaign or story mode? 3) Will there be a cooperative multiplayer mode (like Firefight or Spartan Ops)? 4) Approximately how many weapons do you plan to have and what are they? 5) Will armor customization be implemented? 6) Will weapon customization be implemented? 7) Do you have your own OST or will you just be music from the Halo games, or will there not be any music at all? And the most important question:[spoiler][b][i][u]IS THAT THE GOD-KING CE MAGNUM?[/u][/i][/b][/spoiler]

Looks like you guys have done a lot of work! The assets look great, I think the only one I saw i didn't completely like was the helmets. Looks like y'all still need to work in a death animation and I may need to watch again but it looked like the run didn't always play correctly. I would offer to help but I've only used UE and know nothing of unity besides reading the website and several tutorials. Bravo on the efforts you guys have put into this, and good luck with your future efforts!

Editado por Trestero: 6/6/2016 7:11:52 AMI can't help but worry that through some crazy BS Microsoft's gonna find a way to shut this down with sheer legal power (Even if they don't have a basis, just the burden of fighting it would be dangerous from a money standpoint). Even so, this looks great. Hell, if I had enough knowledge or experience with game programming to be confident in my ability I'd be signing up myself; sadly, I'm still lacking experience with a lot of things and while I enjoy being able to look at the code that's been put together for something and figure out how it all fits together this is way beyond the 2d game dabbling I've done before. I'll be watching development eagerly.

4 RespuestasSome quick questions, because this looks badass: Will muzzle flashes be implemented in the future (seems weird to be firing a gun without them: too many video games for me)? Will hit detection arrows/red splauches be added (to see where someone is shooting at you from)? Will models+maps be smoothed out in the future? Otherwise, I love the style and effort displayed in this preview. Good luck!
