So... can people actually beat crota's end without cheese?
I just got up to crota by being dead all raid while one other guy cheeped out the earlier sections of the raid... and it was quite possibly the dullest experience of my life thus far.
Its sad that I myself have to resort to accepting to do it that way because of how annoying it is to find a team who'll do it right, a raid should be the top challenge for a solid team. not "ok everybody, die and i'll cheese this part then we'll do it again until the end"
So yeah, just a rant to get out my frustration at the fact I'm having to cheap out a raid just because nobody seems to be halfways competent anymore... no offence to those teams that do it the right way, but most of those are 6 friends (and I don't have one who plays destiny anymore). Anybody else feelin that the biggest problem with destiny is its spineless players?

Recorded our first two crota kills in week one on xbox1. Was proud after 6hrs :)

Just in it for the gear it stopped being fun after the 7th day of trying to complete it.

Completed 4 times and legit every time while being sword bearer ever time. Just got my final raid piece (except helmet), so once I hit 32 beating Crota will take only minutes!

Our group finished Crota day two of release and have run 7 Raids since without ever cheating out way through. Those who cheat are only cheating themselves for when it's all patched. Idiots.

Beat legit x4. Not gonna lie though cheesed on my 27 alt cause theres no way to beat it at 27 lol. Ill never cheese on my 31s though. When all the stars align i.e. swordbearer not being a bitch and snipers handling knights its not even that hard

If you have people that are good, you guys can clear the whole raid in 30 mins or less, legitimately. No cheesing. I don't think I have people die until we get to Crota. You just need experience, and most importantly communication.

I'm the only one of my clan that has beaten him legitimately. They got gear by using the connection cheat on him and said, "Now we have the gear, so we can beat him the legit way." If they had to cheat to get the gear to beat him the right way... then they are not going to stand a chance, when they fix the bugs for Hard Mode. I hope I'm wrong about that.

I have beat him legit 6 times, I had a buddy be like "peep my new gear we just cheesed crota" I said oh that's sweet man. I felt bad for him cause there's not a chance in hell he'd be able to do it legit and when It does get patched he won't be too pleased, not to mention when the hard raid comes out people won't know what to do

I was the sword bearer in the last bit, really stressful as your the main guy, you fail and it will affect everyone massively, but it was a load of fun doing all legit. Especially when people are taking longer to cheese crota than doing it legit, when hard mode comes around and all these cheddar cheese exploits are patched so many people will be -blam!-ed, so learn it legit people. Edit: I have done the raid 3 times, however only 1 team wanted to do it legit, too many want to cheese.

Beat it regular the first time. Tried to cheese it with a PUG earlier this week but it didn't work so I joined my buddy and we beat it regular twice in less than an hour and a half. (Started with Crota the first run). I don't like looking for PUGs so I solo up to the deathsinger on all three of my characters.

Actually, my team is looking to do the raid soon. We are hoping to do it legit, and this is our first time around. None of us have any idea what to expect. We just beat the lanterns bit in the beginning, and are doing sword bearers right now. We still have an open slot left if you are interested. We are planning on doing it tonight at around 9:00 or so, (EST) if you care to join. None of us are really that good though.

1 RespuestaI came into destiny with 0 friends, and as such have found many good players to do the raid with. Isn't this suppose to be a social game where you make friends? If you got no one to do the raid legit , then you're playing the game wrong.
