Funny Interactions with Randoms?
One of the things I love the most about [i]Destiny [/i]is the seamless matchmaking on while Patrols. When I first began the Alpha... and then again in the Beta, and then the full launch, I'd see higher level Guardians roaming the Cosmodrome with purpose and flair. Their cloaks were billowing, their bonds were gleaming, their armor was sweeeeet (at least, compared to mine), and they all ignored me. Which is awesome! They had shit to do, who the -blam!- am I? I'd envy their gear from a distance and then press forward with new determination: I wanted that cloak, dammit.
Now my Hunter is all grown up, level 29 and lookin' fine. The other day, I landed in the Cosmodrome Patrol and I pulled up my gear to swap exotics... and then I heard 5 pulse rifle bursts in a row, immediately to my right. I was like "Who the -blam!- is..." and then I saw a level 4 Hunter, still wearing his little white scarf, pointing his gun at the ground. I don't know, I laughed hard. Another time, again in the Cosmodrome, I had a Level 3 Hunter run up to me, circle around to check out my gear, then knife me in the face and ran away shooting at nothing in particular. Then yesterday, I killed one of the Blades of Crota, grabbed the sword, and saw a Level 12 Hunter watching... he'd followed me into the basement, and I had already killed everything. I felt bad and dropped the sword, which he immediately picked up, and then he followed me for another minute or so, hacking and slashing to his heart's delight.
This is why I love [i]Destiny[/i]. Sure the story is meh, but these tiny interactions, even without speaking, keep me coming back. Have any of you had weird/fun/bizarre interactions with random players, low level or otherwise?

Saw a low lvl during a Venus patrol at the fallen camp. Seemed to be struggling with that thick group of fallen. I jumped down from the ridge with my void warlock and Mario-stomped the middle vandal into an explosion that wiped a lot of them out. The guy did a salute at me. Another time I was in the rail yard doing bounties (before that mission was made replay able). A blade of Crota happened. It went after a low level who started frantically back pedaling and firing with little effect. I charged around a corner with my Titan and nuked it from behind right before the knight hit him with a jump slice. The knight evaporated. The newbie just stood there looking at me till I pointed at the sword. He took it and butchered all the hive he could find rather enthusiasticly.

If im patrolling the cosmodrome and i happen to kill a blade of crota and theres low lvl guardians around i usually drop the sword just to see what they do

I love throwing grenades at low levels cause if they have there sous up they react by shooting and jumping at nothing

I just have players wave, or just run around. Sometimes help them out when I see one struggling to kill a Blade of Crota. I'll put a few rounds in the blade to knock him down a little, then move on.

Ha yeah I saw a level 3 show me his hand cannon and sniper and I showed him my thorn and my icebreaker and he flipped and punched for 2 minutes. Then we became friends and he has icebreaker and thorn now. Also some level 13 saw me one shot everything and he stared at me like " whaaaat?" .

First day I got the game ran through the entire alpha with some random then played beta and met the same guy and teamed up again after that I joined the masses and brought the game after 2 days would you believe it I met the same guy we spent that evening levelling from 7 to 14 then we parted ways and we added each other this is a relationship that has prevailed to this day we completed VOG the day we hit 25 and continue to play almost every time we are both online as much as we have began to drift away from the game I still love that a game can make friendships like this one which I'm hoping will last a while as we've met many times now just one of the things I love this game for

Playing in the iron banner.......titan pops his bubble over a control point as I run up.......I stop...... he points.......I point........he dances......I dance............we then both melee each other twice and both die!! Haha haha!!!

Well I am sorry for posing so magnificent but all I do is look good. How I got to level 30 I don't know?. I try really hard to fire my gun in a sraight projectory but waste most of my mag in the ground. Yes even the magestic level 30 that I am sucks compared to a level 20 something I saw the other day dancing on his bike

Doing roc strike and we are entering the area with the tank right before fight with rockets mcdickface, and I'm on the machine shooting at the cabal when the random fireteam member proceeded to jump on the machine with me driving and he was dancing on my head. I just ignored him like he wasn't there and he eventually jumped off

1 RespuestaI was at the Hunter vanguard and as I walked away, "Please take me with you" made my night lol Jumped my sparrow off the hill by the ditch just before the Mothyards. The sparrow went just under a Lightpole, my guardian was clotheslined off and killed. Excellent for a good laugh

During the early time of Destiny I got my self to lvl 28, now there were very few lvl 28s at this time. So I hop on a new character and start to play. Well 2 randoms come around and start showing off. Now I see this as a perfect opportunity to troll them. I invited them to my party with my friend who was also using his low lvl character. I told them that they were really good and I asked them how they were so good. Bear in mind I'm a lvl 4 at the moment and they are lvl 24. So I ask them if they can help us and they say yes. So I message my friend to go to orbit and I go grab my lvl 28 and he gets his lvl 27. We then invite them to our game, and they are in shock at this time. I ask if they want to play PVP, they say yes. Half way the the game I ask why they sent talking. They say they are in shock.

3 RespuestasI'm sure a lot of people had this, but back when material farming was a thing, I would frequently go out to the Scablands on Mars and run around for chests. Another dude came along, grabbed some chests, and we started farming together for what felt like an hour. Everytime one of us found a chest and we weren't in the same room we would always point. Good times. ^.^

Haha I'm alway willing to help level 26 with the VOG on normal. I enjoy helping people that have never completed the VOG, just knowing that I was once in there shoes and level 30s always turned me down for VOG is the icing on the cake for me!! Oh and I like killing the swordbearer in the cosmodrome and dropping it right in front of lower levels to enjoy...

I, too, don't mind killing Croat and giving the sword to a lower level guardian mate and watch them like a little kid with a new toy. Pretty awesome.

3 RespuestasOne time I got like 12 people to start dancing in a circle and then after about 2 min I started to crouch walk away and everyone followed me around the whole tower. It was hilarious!!

I think all these interactions are what make the game fun on patrol. Reminds of that game journey on ps3.
