Best Legendary Scout Rifle Pre-DLC
So after so many people kept saying that the VoC was their favorite, I decided to make a new poll with the VoC as an option.
What's the "best" is completely up to you and is more like saying, what do you like and use most.
My favorite is still the Proxima Centauri II, because of the range and it still has a nice RoF.
Edit: I'm curious to whether most people used scout rifles before getting VoC, or if they just started when they got VoC. Thoughts?

VOC hands down, out performs new scout rifles. Everybody is still using can hear it when doing raids and strikes. I love that gun

Had the dead orbit legendary v1. First and only legendary for two weeks. Then got voc. Man is it a blast. Just got crusader 1 v2 as random drop and not sure if I will, but the firefly perk seems fun. If they'd raise voc to 2.0 I might not ever use another gun as primary. I love hawkmoon, but something really nice about headshots with voc

Just got ib scout and rerolled, for firefly, explosive rounds and rodeo. Mu life is complet es now seeing as two days ago I got the vanguard scout rifle with 3rd eye, explosive rounds and the perk that increases stability with damage dealt. 1 for pve 1 foe pvp. :)

Nothing beats raid gear, but proxima congress in a distant second in my opinion

I'd say it's a tie between Demise and Vision. Demise hits like a truck, but its stability and handling leave a lot to be desired unless you blew enough motes to have the perfect combination of stability perks for it. Vision may not have the best impact, but there's no arguing the usefulness of full auto + solar damage, plus it handles just beautifully.

I voted cryptic dragon before, but the Gheleon's Demise is pretty great so far. My Reroll for Gheleon was mulligan, (field scout, fitted stock and high calibur) and outlaw. I'm pretty impressed with it. The look of the gun is just breath taking.

3 RespuestasScout rifle player since day 1 here. Used to love the Vanguard's A.1... Now, I'm partial to Gheleon's Demise! Packs a bigger punch, love the look of it. And you can never go wrong with the explosive crowd-control stagger effect of the Firefly perk!!! Still have to get my hands on a VoC, though... Got Atheon's Epilogue, Praedyth's Revenge, Praedyth's Timepiece and Found Verdict... No scout! :(

Sure I loose fire rate( no big deal just pull the trigger faster) and aim slightly lower on a enemy as to counter the loss of stability as the shots rise. Overall its a beast of a scout. And the firefly perk turns targets into grenades!

I've used Scout and Pulse from the start.

I have used the arias nemesis, mida multi-tool, the iron banner scout rifle and visions of confluence. VoC is definitely my favorite
