I don't know which to choose
PS4 has Killzone Shadowfall and Infamous Second Sun but I have never played a Killzone game
I have Infamous 1 and 2 thanks for a PS3 bundle I got for Christmas last year but I haven't even completed the first one
Xbox One has Titanfall, everything else in between is multi-platform, and since I feel like I'll be forced to get CoD: Ghosts because of my friends, I'll end up getting that, and personally, Call of Duty feels "at home" on Xbox
So help me decide, and by the end of today or tomorrow, I'll be placing a pre-order for Destiny on whichever console gets voted for the most
I'd appreciate it if you gave your personal opinion on each console, but nothing like "lul git du pee es for cuz ecxbawcks es gey"
I want actual, detailed opinions, please

Who the -blam!- are these new people? Lol
-
I'm choosing based on experience considering that they are very similar in graphics and each only have about 2 exclusives I want.
-
Xbox One! It has the best game exclusives like Halo, Titanfall, Dead Rising, Forza, and Ryse. Hope you make the right decision! :)
-
Xbox one is better

When it comes down to it consoles are made to play games. Get the one with exclusives that are appealing to you . That's how I made my chose .

2 RespuestasBiased poll - more Xbox'ers on Bungie.net.

3 RespuestasEditado por Cobravert: 10/7/2013 1:40:25 PMTo me it should be as simple as this; Which system are most of the people that you regularly play with going to be on? Whichever one it is, choose that one. Bottom line on the consoles is - Both will do basically the same thing in the end. There is no clear 'better' overall between the 2. Even though they have 'value added' stuff on them, if you do not have any use for it, it is meaningless and not part of the 'what do I need to have' equation. So I 'no vote' your poll. Friends on _______ system > System with supposed more bells and whistles

Editado por Bitmazta: 10/8/2013 5:18:51 AMIt all depends. Xbox One seems like the expensive all-in-one box for your TV. PS4 pleases me more since it's cheaper and Sony advertises more to gamers than to a general audience. Well, not really. It also depends on what your friends are getting.

Editado por Destiny2014Now: 10/8/2013 5:24:13 AMWell look at it like this there are seven f2p games coming on the ps4: Planetside 2, Warframe, Blacklight Retribution, DC Universe Online, War Thunder, Deep Down and a pre-installed, The Playroom. Xbox One has one f2p game: Killer Instinct. You get about 1-3 PS Plus games every month on your PS4. More of the games that came out around 1-2 years ago will be offered on PS Plus. I doubt Xbox Live Gold Rewards will continue on the Xbox One. Anyway, it offers games that came out around 4-8 years ago. Ah yes, there is more indie games coming on PS4. But, Microsoft recently got a deal with Unity to make more games on the Xbox One, by next year lots of indie games will come out. In the end, its your choice of what games and exclusive content you prefer. :)
I prefer the PS4.
They're the same thing don't listen to what anyone says the only real difference is the games. Pick what you'll enjoy and if you're a gamer who likes to play with friends take the consoles your friends are getting into consideration.

1 RespuestaI'm going ps4 Cheaper and the free games we'll be getting each month aren't two years old More indie support Most of my friends are getting it And kinect/ps eye won't be shoved up my arse as required in order to get the thing
-
Probably will end up with both, I'm thinking my brother will take a PS4 to college and I'll keep an X1 at home.
-
1 RespuestaI'm getting a PS4 at first. Titanfall has been on my radar since it debuted at the MS trailer, so I'll likely get a One for that. Hopefully it won't launch too early.

3 RespuestasXbox One because Titanfall PS4 because Killzone and Infamous Get both, goddamn it

Go where your friends go. Destiny won't get exclusive content, just timed content.

8 RespuestasEditado por Q9086119: 10/7/2013 1:32:35 PMmaybe you should consider a Steam Machine also. They are more powerful than both of these consoles, but will be expensive. I cant dish out that much money, but I have enough for the Xbox One. That's where my taste of games are. Steam has so many games and is bringing the PC world to your TV and chair. It's interesting to say the least.

i am going for xbox one since all my xbl friends seem to stick with it will get ps4 later on.

Xbox Live has always been superior to PSN. It's never been hacked then posthumously shutdown for a month. It's never bricked your console. It quite often gets services first and offers dedicated servers to all developers cheap (hense Titanfall is exclusive). Despite their little fiasco which they've payed for during the May release, I think Xbox Live is enough reason to stay Microsoft especially in light of two very similar consoles.

Editado por Progo: 10/7/2013 2:00:29 PMPC, cheaper if you are an avid gamer, faster than any console, you can upgrade the hardware so it's still cutting edge in 2-3 years, and it gets a lot of games! And with the Steam OS coming out gaming on PC is only going to get better.

1 RespuestaSo help me decide, and by the end of today or tomorrow, I'll be placing a pre-order for Destiny on whichever console gets voted for the most This proves my point, your basing your purchase decision based on what others are telling you to get. If you like what x1 has to offer, get the x1. If you like what the ps4 has to offer, get the ps4. Its quite simple really, trust your own judgment.

2 RespuestasGo where your friends go. That's far more important than any specs.

Wow. So far the poll is 50/50. I didn't think it would be that, seeing what an Xbox-heavy site this is.

3 RespuestasEditado por nao: 10/7/2013 1:06:01 AMPS4 for me. Cheaper, more powerful, better exclusives imo, I've heard nothing but good news about the new DS4 controller, and it doesn't come with a pos kinect. Titanfall is coming out on 360 and PC. Plus it will only be a timed exclusive, so that doesn't really factor into my choice. None of the other Xbox exclusive interest me at all. I've been pretty unsatisfied with Xbox first party games for a while now. They've been focusing on Kinect, TV, and NFL deals while Sony has been making new IPs and improving on old ones. As the consoles get older the diffence in the gpu's is going to become more apparent as well. Killzone and inFamous already look better than all the Xbox One games I've seen. Add to this the difference in both companies mentalities when approaching this new generation. Sony has shown a lot of initiative on games and fixing consumer / developer problems. They've done a lot of listening and I like the direction they are heading over where Microsoft seems to want to go. So factoring all this in it was a pretty easy choice on my part. This coming from someone who has only owned an Xbox and a 360 the last two generations.
Your going to get more Xbox votes here cuz its b.net. I wouldn't let other people decide for you.
To be honest, you should go Ps4. IMO the only thing that XB1 has over it is timed dlc's and exclusives. Ps4 has amazing exclusives, graphics, and multiplayer is going to get better since now we pay 50$ a year to make it better and get a lot of free games. I got a 360 a few days ago and i don't really play it that much at all compared to my ps3 which i've had for 6 years. Plus the Ps4 will have more games because of F2Ps and indies and the 30 exclusives coming in the 1st year.
