Which Halo (FPS) had the best art/graphic style in your opinion?
Like how the weapon/vehicle/AI models were, how the scenery was, the art. The skyboxes were the best in the series and the visuals were very clean/polished and colourful too! Not which looks more realistic. Not how good the graphics were. Which looked the best in your opinion? State why too.
IMO it's Halo 3. Although many people claimed it for being too "cartoony".I thought it was beautiful. Look at Last resort and Stand off and high ground. Obviously there are more beautiful looking maps in Halo 3 but these are some of my favourites.
Halo 2 was close but Halo 3 was better. Halo 1, Reach and CEA were excellent too IMO.
But the Halo 4 art style...is terrible IMO. It basically looks like star wars skin which barely resembles Halo. It doesn't even look like Halo that much IMO. Halo 4 clearly had the best graphics though.
I hope Halo 5 has a very similar art style to Halo 3 but obviously with a graphical upgrade obviously.
[b][i][u]EDIT: Halo Anniversary is very similar to reach and uses the same models in most cases. So if you think Halo anniversary is the best choose the "Halo Reach" option![/b][/i][/u]

EDIT: People are getting confused between Art and graphics. I never said Halo 4 had bad graphics but had an art style I didn't like.

halo 3 hands down. That lighting. Standoff's skybox is probably my favorite of all time. I also loved the heavy tree skybox of guardian. I will say that spartans looked the coolest in reach though.

Halo Reach - just had the right balance of grit to color and just seemed like the most graphically impressive out of all the Halos right now

Halo 3 all the way! The Master Chief model looks fantastic! And the warthogs look right too.

ODST was the most atmospheric of the bunch. Halo 4 has very nice art direction, top tier tbh. I spent a lot of time around release in campaign walking around the environment and just ... looking at detail. I can't even imagine the eye candy that Halo 5 will be. Also: people saying Halo CE don't understand the poll question...

The Spartans look they're wearing actual, metal armor instead of plastic. And I loved the look of the Elites. Way better than the hunchback dinosaur look of Halo 3's Elites.

If anything, Reach was more like COD, it was so dull

I want to say ODST but I wasn't too keen on Halo 3's. So I'm going to say Reach, as ODST wasn't an option.

The only thing I don't like about H4's art style is the coloring of the spartans in team games. Why does the red look pink and the blue look so bright? It ruins it for me. I wish they used the FFA red and blue.

Halo 3 overall. Reach for textures and skyboxes. 4 for lighting. I love Halo CE and Anniversary though too.

I have to go with Halo 3. I usually prefer a grittier art style like in Halo 2 or Reach, but I thought they did a fantastic job with the brighter color scheme.

Halo 3. I don't know how anyone can say Halo 2... That was one hell of a choppy popping mess....
