I realize there is already a post on this topic, but i just thought of another idea. Just for some background. Bungie has said that Destiny will be an always evolving world and it will be there project for the next ten years. So a question that many have is, how will Destiny evolve and grow to last 10 years? Well my ideas are kind of a mash up between StarkExpanse's ideas http://www.bungie.net/7_On-the-Subject-of-an-Interesting-Evolving-World/en-us/Forum/Post?id=60147842 And Shade's idea http://www.bungie.net/7_Urban-Warfare/en-us/Forum/Post?id=60954591 So in the story of Destiny we are in this war of survival with the other alien races. So if this is a war i really hope Bungie actually makes it feel like a real war. Ya know, not scripted, not linear. I hope it feel organic and living. For example Bungie could have events may random maybe not, where things like an alien force is advancing in some sector of the galaxy and you need to deal with the threat. Or there is a battle that's happening between to alien races and you need to take advantage of that occurrence. Maybe there is a huge Vex army advancing on the city walls and you have to lead an army against them with other human players. Maybe the Cabal have begun production on some fort that is a potential threat and you need to deal with it. Our city could develop some new technology that we could begin to utilize. Like Shade said, enemy dropships could enter the city and the enemy would begin terrorizing the civilians. Just real-time, organic feeling events. (Perhaps all of these events would be brought to your attention by some commander in the city onto your HUD and maybe it would be a good idea for all of them to be public events, idk). These are just some of my ideas that i think would be cool to see in Destiny. It might seem kind of amateur or far-fetched, but i just thought they were cool and wanted to share them.
