That would be pretty neat, but I think it may be a bit hard to coordinate hand gestures while still using the controller. It would have to be EXTREMELY streamlined, possibly to the point that it's almost not worth having. I like the idea though.

I think in this case you wouldn't really need specific hand coordination. As in, the Kinect would mainly follow your arm joints, not your fingers or anything, and you wouldn't have to actually let go of the controller. They added more skeletal joints to the kinect model, and the depth of field is vastly improved, so technically it wouldn't really need super precise actions to translate physical movement into animation. For example, raising your arms for surrender/sign of peace is really different compared to beckoning someone towards you, so the actions wouldn't have to be THAT precise. Then again, if they did include this, I doubt that the actions would be complicated, just basic movements that would make other players easier and more fun to interact with. Skip to 1:56 in the video to get a better idea of what I'm saying, cause even I'm having some troubles completely writing out this concept.
