Recently, more info regarding "Duality" (A never-finished game by [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_Aught]Double Aught[/url]) was shown on the Marathon Story Guide. It piqued my curiosity. As I've always wondered why was this project dropped. In the link I posted above, you'll find some background story about it, images, and even a couple tracks from a Soundtrack (It's been 16-17 Years already and I've never felt so lucky of being able to listen to such a thing after so much time). A "Prologue" of Duality could be found in the Secret Marathon Infinity "Hats Off To 819" Network Level (Notice the Hamish Sinclair reference on the Level title). It's curious, because as you may notice [url=http://marathon.bungie.org/story/newmay-june12.html]Here[/url] (Scroll down, the last post is the one I submitted) I found a similarity between that "Prologue"'s Character and a Character from a Halo Novel (One of the Novels from the Forerunner Saga). Which left me thinking for a while... ...Was Duality ever dropped at all? I mean, After that, Halo came out, and then, it's sequels, but not even a thing was heard of Marathon. Or Duality. The Team seemed to had split up, although some news have been heard from some of it's members, relatively Not-So-Old News, that is. I wonder if Bungie has something in mind for Duality or Double Aught, or if there's a relation between Duality and the upcoming Destiny. There might be, but because it was never released, we might never know. Still, I keep wondering what secrets have not been unveiled after so many years. Even then we're still finding out things about Marathon. And now that a "Marathon" Project was mentioned in the Bungie/Activision contract.. the possibilities can vary. I'll try to search for as much as I can (Or am allowed, of course, I can't interfere with certain things). But it'd be great to see something related, at least a small light of hope that pointed towards Duality, or even, Marathon. It's been 19-20 Years since the First Marathon came out, and I've done my best to get up to speed. But there are many things I still don't know.
