France is Britains closet ally?
As in America is messing us around and treating us badly while France is becoming a better ally.
What do you think?
I wrote out a large list of reasons and I pressed something which closed by browser so I am not retyping it unless I have to.
(PS I don't hate America just it's government)

Well, I'd much rather have the US be our closest ally, they might have screwed up a few wars but at least they don't run away.
