Would you like to re-experience the game and it's DLC as they came out but this time on PC?

no partly because i'm not a pc player. But even so i've played Destiny 1 already and I don't want to play most of the stuff that stuff again. Destiny 1 specifically lacks all the added quality of life enhancements of D2 as well. But generally, I don't want to play old games i've already played.

I mean, maybe; but I don't have the life or grind time to play that -blam!- anymore. I'm good.

4 RespuestasNostalgia is one hell of a drug… my answer is no.

As much as I enjoyed my D1 experience. I recently saw a streamer play D1 for the first time and it was boring AF. Maybe would be good for new players if they wanted to go back and experience it but I won't be for sure.

Yes one problem... They never kept a copy of the legacy engine for D2 for the Red war.... What makes you think they did the same thing for D1?... They'd probably have to completely remake the game because of all the updates and removed content and probably never backed up anything after changes....

If its not a stupid price like 70 and on xbox and PlayStation to with crossplay than yes absolutely.

5 RespuestasEditado por Cheat: 2/4/2026 4:07:25 PMYes. Easy money for Bungie. Edit: adding some extra feedback. I ended up buying the Destiny 1 collection for PS4 back when it was on sale for $5. I had previously only played the vanilla campaign shortly after launch and had lost interest until like a year into Destiny 2's lifespan, where I jumped back into the game. Going from Destiny 2 -> Destiny 1 was SO refreshing. Yes, it's true that Destiny 2 feels better to play from a gameplay perspective (controller movement is clunky, no mantling, lack of QoL like loadouts, etc.) but the polish on Destiny 1 is crazy when you compare it to D2. Like... Destiny 1 is a full and complete game. Nothing was removed (nothing that I could tell). The game teaches you systems through ramping up gameplay rather than popups and overlays that are distracting. The whole weapon / armor / subclass investment system is SO MUCH BETTER in D1. Playing with gear lets you upgrade it, which incentivizes using other things to get them up to a higher level and unlock your abilities. Destiny 1 is also much more weapons focused. There's no ability spam like in Destiny 2. It's not a bad thing. Just different and I really enjoyed my time playing it. As for replayability: D2 is obviously meant to be a hamster wheel of content vs D1 being a complete game with some replayability in Crucible and raids and such. But yeah: I'd love to have a 1:1 port with just the ability to map controls to M&K + more frames per second. I would be ecstatic if QOL updates like mantling and choosing destinations from locations (rather than going to orbit first) were added. I genuinely would probably switch over for at least a few months to grind things out.

I didn’t like it the first time round why would I want to play it again?

Nah, but someone should buy the Oni IP from R*.
