Story was bad however you should re-watch the cutscene. After she was hit her body is destroyed (You can see it disappearing) however she lives indicating she's in the vex network similar to Asher Mir. Shooting her would've just ended her speech early which some might have liked but changes basically nothing.

But wtf is the echo of control

Checked a bunch of stuff. It's a remnant of an extinct species the qugu including the power the Witness achieved their their deaths, the light stolen from the traveler, the witness own power, and the guardians massive final attack on it.

What does it do and why does it do what it does. That should be the whole point of these episodes. Not leaving us on cliff hangers.

Editado por WinterSolstice: 9/23/2024 11:13:08 PMThe "what" is kinda in the name "Command" it forces someone to bend to your will and the "why" is basically what I mentioned. It's got the power and knowledge of an extinct species, the witness, the traveler, and the guardian all in one. With this power it can forcefully control a being and it seems the ability to resist it is based on willpower.

But again these episodes are all about these echoes, but all we got from this episode was a soap opera. They need to focus on the echoes instead of hiding them behind lore cards.

That I can agree on.

Doesn't she have a throne world anyway?
