1. Story was kinda Dogshite. Doesn’t matter if they were gay or not, nothing is going to help it. I would have much preferred an exploration of the Vex and the Echo of Control. I mean, what even is an Echo (aside from the base line knowledge I have of it due to consuming vast quantities of Destiny media. All I know is that it’s a portion of the Witnesses consciousness/mind given form via the Light-Dark mixture that now pervades the Traveler) I mean, give the echos some character. Make the eldritch horrors. Give them reason as to why they are actually powerful and actually devastating. Without the right context toward the echo I just found myself watching the final cutscene in disappointment. Our Guardian defeated the Witness, and we’re being manhandled by just some Rando? It was felt like an Anti Feat for the Guardian (especially since Saint broke free) then it felt like a feat in favor of the Conductor. Am I the only one who felt that way?
