My new name isn't saving; looking to redeem my one free name change
I first started playing D2 via Steam on my personal computer. The name of my steam profile at that time was "IDontPlayGambit" (and I don't).
Once I got a PS5, I downloaded Destiny 2 onto my console and enabled cross-platforming so I can play the same characters on both my PC and my PS5.
The name I have on my PS5 account is "IHaveSlydexia", a play on me being diagnosed with Dyslexia. When I attempt to change my Bungie Account name so that it will appear as "IHaveSyldexia", it gives me the option to save my name, and it then tells me that my changes were saved... but my name remains "IDontPlayGambit".
Am I understanding something wrong here? Does my name somehow violate the code of conduct?

2 RespuestasIt's possible that something in the name you're trying to use isn't acceptable to the filter because of a combination of letters that may not be super obvious. Unfortunately, if the above is the case, then you'd have to use something else. It's not recommended to try and work around the filter, as that can end up leading to your name being Guardian'd, and if you already used your one-time name change before that, then you'd be stuck as Guardian for the foreseeable future.
