RNG should never be a part of leveling. Especially not with the added difficulty.
Basically the title. Higher difficulty without higher/better rewards while leveling does not make up for a fun game. It just takes us longer to then get the same pinnacles over and over again for no progress at all.
But now that I think about it... Probably exactely what Bungie wants, right?

It's even better when it drops an even lower level pinnacle for the same slot over and over again. It reminds me why I stop playing for a good while, only to come back and do it over again.
