Before anything, I have to specify that this issue does not concern myself, but a friend, who is too lazy to really look into it. Recently, I convinced him to try Destiny 2, he created an account, etc, we play everything is good. But he wants to change his name in-game so I direct him to the bungie website to change it. He claims he did change it, and the website consumed his only attempt at editing the name, which did not change, and stayed at the default "Guardian[insert_number]". A bit surprised, I assured him there had to be a bug, or maybe just lag, so that the servers could properly assimilate the change. it has now been almost a week, the name did not change, and he claims the website prevents him from editing it, as he apparently used his only change possible. Is that a common issue, or maybe he just missed something?
