I am unable to get the new exotic glaive due to an unforeseeable action. Upon logging in, with no knowledge of a new quest being in the game, I joined my brother's fireteam. As luck would have it, he was inside the new Vex mission for the glaive. Since I joined the zone directly, bypassing the previous steps, I received no quest in my log, and upon completion of the mission I am not able to receive any more steps, and consequently the glaive. When I got into the mission my brother even suggested that I leave the fireteam, just to see how cool the lead up to the mission was. I did that. I left immediately and found the cave, and talked to the Harpy. Still, I got no quest. And since I'd been inside the zone already, the exotic quest icon was already present on my map. Can anything be done to fix this? You can check my triumphs to see I actually did complete the mission.
