My best guess is that Eramis will become a disciple of The Witness, and we'll see her return as a boss somewhere Lightfall and The Final Shape. I think she was out to get the relics under her own guise, possibly to save her house, but was distorted by the darkness, and could very well be tied to The Witness in one or more ways.

Oh most definitely. I think the scorn and hive working together is just the beginning of an alliance like this, I'm wondering if we'll see Eramis surprise us all and pull a Mithrax and join us to fight The Black Army. Bungie has HUGE potential with the next few seasons of content, and I'm stoked to see what they do!
