Light in moderation does not mean not looking. Constructive ideas don’t always stand out. It is hard to find in the sea of hate and melodrama. Rarely do games age well. Ten years is a long time with the same game engine. In my opinion this heavily patched game is in need of an overhaul. If only to support more powerful rendering and more efficient tools. D2 didn’t have the funding. Maybe now with funding D3 is possible.
