People say what they like without restraint because they aren’t actually saying these things to people faces. If they ever got to actually talk to the game developers, it wouldn’t resort to death threats like it did on Twitter. The power of keyboard warriors shows in the forums.

  • Funny thing is, even though they were threatened with so-called "death" on twitter...they are still present there. They cant take the criticism and vitriol in their own forums and continue to stay far away from them. What does this say to you ?

  • Ahhh...ok. See this is where you Bungie defenders lose your credibility. Im sorry, but your answer totally gave you away. Lemme simplify the question for you ... If Bungie got "death threats" on Twitter, why do they still maintain player contact on that platform, all the while on their own forums mind you, they stay radio silent on player's issues and criticisms of their IP ? What does this scenario tell you about Bungie ?

  • Let me simplify the obvious, it’s a business. You’d make sure he best CEO to absolutely shun out all of those who are actually paying money for cosmetics. Their business plan is to milk money, it’s blatantly obvious. The game would have died in a month had they continued pursuing punishment, pushing all those who actually pay their bills away. Yes, it wasn’t the best of actions, it’s not like they had much of a choice Why do Titans cry about something that was taken away, just to resort to the “crayon eating” intelligence of doing something stupid like death threats. It’s half on Bungie and half on the community for being so ludacris with their reactions. “Oh no, my Titan cannot dodge mid-air. No, the arc dodge isn’t good enough.” Maybe if people learned how to be civilized, they wouldn’t have had to resort to dumb business decisions. Maybe they’d even be more open about the future, if whatever they said want immediately “hunter this and hunter that.” Example, strand grappling hook.

True. Whenever you read feedback on here, you have to factor in the people who can’t stop themselves playing (even when they’re not enjoying the game) as well as the people who used to play, but now linger in the forums because they can’t let go.

Mostly I love the universe I’ll probably always return, but there will always be things about the game I dislike. It’s always going to happen. I’ve been here since 2014 and I, along with most of the community, have to take a break in order to come back. I’m mostly just disappointed at the present staff for how far the company devolved from the love the original staff had. I feel like even if I did stop playing, I’d still tune in to the lore.
