I didn't donate planetary mats. Trying to make me get rid of 9000 planetary mats without being able to select a specified amount seems suspicious.

They are useless come next season, so might as well have donated them
-
Don’t think you’re correct. They can be exchanged for glimmer next season is what I understood.
-
You’re correct. Glimmer at half the rate as this season. Soooo basically useless.
-
Even if 9000 only nets you half the glimmer cap, it’s still glimmer in reserve. No point in throwing it away.
-
I mean I can agree, but there are going to be loads of people still with 9,000+ planetary mats next year still not wanting to part. Using the excuse that it’s still useful (they just haven’t used it).
-
I used them all the time as I blew through glimmer trying guns Just have to not upgrade everything anymore unless they plan on making glimmer easier to get, or at the very least more consistent.
-
Ironically, they are making it easier to get/more consistent. Don’t remember specifics but they talked about activities/patrols/public events and such giving massively more glimmer gains Obviously still viable for the “Destiny rich” to sit in the tower and top off multiple times over. But it makes the Destiny poor’s life so much better. People who don’t have thousands of material saved.

I agree, getting somebody into this game is a hard task. Not only the paywall when you run out of content, but the materials you wouldn’t have to upgrade gear. Finally a step towards helping new players.
