Congrats Bungie you just played yourself.
This event was the biggest joke I've seen to come out of this game yet, and to add injury to insult the rewards were garbage.
All that effort was for nothing, is what I would say if the community didn't just cheese the entire event in one day.
By taking advantage of just how broken this season was and practically auto completing the event in less than 48 hours this community just proved you didn't even try this season bungie.
A very easy to catch glitch just broke the entire event and now theres nothing left to do till next season so I'm out till then GG bungie better luck next time.

Yeah, the dupe glitch was funny. Seeing the curve on the graph tracking donations go near vertical was also funny. But, the glitch also wasn't as relevant as people seem to think. The reason is that planetary materials would've done the same thing, just slightly later. If it hadn't been for the glitch, people would've just turned in a stack of planetary mats and finished this thing off a few hours later than with the glitch. Personally, I just did the glitch anyway, as the planetary mats might have some value later on. Even a minimal value from those mats is better than burning them in a pile to "improve" the Eliksni quarters.
