It's been nearly a month since I could last access Destiny 2

If you want to get through knowledge about what this post is about here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/261646797?sort=0&page=0 to sum up what this is about, almost a month ago i pre-ordered lightfall and began experiencing this bug that cause the game to crash at the title screen for some PS4/PS5 and in some cases, steam users (those that have their account linked to a PS4 through crossplay) and became unable to access the game. at first I thought that it was just the usual first buggy days of a new season, how wrong i turned out to be. I and many others have been affected by this, while Bungie help on the forums have said they are aware of the issue and are investigating a fix, there has been just so much radio silence on the matter. it took 2 weeks of people making posts, comments across their twitter help account, reddit but mainly here on the forums that there was an official acknowledgement. 3 weeks have gone by and there is no fix as of yet, except for contacting sony support and getting a refund on the lightfall pre-order, but this can only be done for those that bought it through the PSN store. those that got the collectors edition and have been affected by this bug have no other choice, but to wait for a fix to be deployed by Bungie. I know game development isn't easy and that they are looking into the matter, but it would go a long way for them to talk about the progress for a fix. we don't need a release date yet, as currently we just want to know how far along the investigation is going and if there could be some good news soon. I and many others that are affected have lost a month of D2 playtime so far and for this game, a month is quite a lot, meaning that we are gonna have to play smarter and harder to catch up to everyone else. we are trying our best to remain patient and optimistic, but with each day of radio silence that goes by, it becomes harder to remain so. I and others do hope that this is something that gets fixed, but not at the cost of developers health. so we will do our best to stay patient and optimistic, but a simple gesture of mentioning what the progress of a fix is so far would go a long way giving us the strength required to continue to stay strong. stay strong my friends and try to keep the faith going.
