Photosensitivity issues in Destiny 2

Bungie recently released a guide about tips for players with photosensitivity navigating the game. While I appreciate the effort, I find this response to be a bit lackluster. While the guide does provide actionable tips for photosensitive players, I struggle to believe that most of them wouldn't already be using these. Plus, some of them present different accessibility issues. It's all well and good to say "invest in a monitor/TV with Eye-Saver mode" but what if they can't afford that? Not to mention that "play around with in-game settings" is incredibly vague and kind of brushes off the onus on Bungie's part. It’s also borderline irresponsible to recommend blue light glasses because there have been absolutely no studies proving that they help with photosensitivity (aside from the one that’s like. $200 plus dollars, leading us back to the previous problem.) I have a friend with photosensitivity issues and it makes them physically sick to play the game after 20 minutes. That's basically only one or two activities. Destiny is a gorgeous game, and the Light 3.0 subclasses have been a welcome change both in terms of game play and style but they've also made visuals much more complex for photosensitive players. My friend was saying that they were genuinely wondering if they would be able to play Destiny at all come time for Lightfall. (And before you say anything: yes, they have already turned off particles, adjusted overall brightness, tweaked settings, blah blah blah). There needs to be a more robust UI for adjusting these graphics. Removing particles and adjusting overall brightness hasn't cut it. There should be something for contrast and saturation, kind of like color-blind settings but just. You know. Toning it down some. Admittedly, I don't know how complex these functions would be to implement in Destiny's game engine but there has to be something. If anyone is interested in sharing their stories about photosensitivity with Destiny on this thread, that would be much appreciated. Furthermore, if people have ideas for specific accessibility functions that could be implemented that would be amazing. Hell, Bungie could already be working on the exact robust photosensitivity UI that I'm asking for at this moment, but it would certainly help to have Guardian's voices be heard in the meantime.
