I mean that's valid, but you also have to consider how strong our neutral game is.
To this day I still firmly believe that void warlock is one of the best subclasses in the entire game if you build into it right. Solar warlock with Verity's is also a really good option for boss DPS.
Warlock supers may be slightly weaker when compared to the sheer damage of other classes, however you have to take into account our other abilities. Those are what makes us shine.

Good neutrals should never be some excuse for mediocre supers. Supers should as a rule of thumb be, in the absolute worst case scenario, pretty good at what they’re meant for.

Editado por Albus Dumbledore: 9/1/2022 3:05:55 AMYes, but on the other hand I'm also okay with hunters having the highest DPS super. After all, they are based loosely upon the rogue archetype which usually deals the most damage at the cost of recovery in exchange. Nova warp is also a pretty strong super on void in terms of damage, so the subclass ticks all the boxes for both strong neutral and a decent super. On that vein, supers like well are s tier in their own respective way(s). Warlocks were never meant to be the meta in terms of DPS. That is a consequence of playing the class. They are, from conception, meant to be healers - something they are very good at. I would also respectfully disagree with your comment about the neutral game of the warlock. Judging a class based solely on its super is, in my view, akin to judging a book by its cover. Just because a subclass like void might not have a strong super with nova bomb, both its healing potential and ad clear capabilities through volatile explosions make it a really strong pick for high end PvE. If you build into it right, you can have almost endless devour with aoe damage that's only comparable to a setup like Osteo+Necrotics. I want to be clear that I'm not against warlock buffs (as I'm a warlock main myself and always enjoy change in the sandbox), however the point I'm trying to make is that outside of things that are actually broken (ie. 0 resilience on arc) the class does well in the areas it was intended to excel in. If you are not having fun with your warlock, you should first look into setting up stronger builds before saying it under performs on the forums.

Yeah, I clock out as soon as people use generic archetypes that don’t functionally apply to Destiny.

Then warlock isn't for you, I'm not sure what to tell you. If you don't like the class, just don't play it. It's really that simple. 🙂

Top tier arguments! Can’t dispute intelligence at that level my guy

Yikes is right 👍

I mean if u are using Verity's brow with solar that's when ur opinion goes out the door. The only useful exotics on solar are starfire, Phoenix and lunafactions.

Also Promethium Spur is fun Esp. in stuff like Dares

I encourage you to use Verity's + Xeno on Atheon and report back. 🙂

Y would I ever when u get fusions faster then u can throw them anyway. Double fusions are better dps. They do much more then shooting a weapon at all, but if I were to use a weapon I would use a demolitions rocket.

Oh I agree with you on that in most instances for sure; Atheon is different because you get your grenades back pretty much instantly while you have the buff during DPS phase. With Verity's you get massive increases to your grenade output damage if you have 5x 'Death Throes' active, so what I like to do is get a few kills with Xeno (as it one-shots everything) before setting up for damage. If you time it right and make sure you keep constantly getting a kill every 10 seconds to keep the perk active, each grenade you throw will deal upwards of 500k+ damage. If done right, you can easily duo 1-phase the boss
