Emote wheels with +8 options have always been too touchy for me. How bout this? Right now we press a direction on the D-pad to do 1 of 4 emotes. What if it were changed to holding a direction plus pressing a button? Hold Up on Dpad + A, B, X, or Y(4) Hold Right + A, B, X, or Y (4) Hold Left + A, B, X, or Y. (4) Hold Down + A, B, X or Y. (4) For a total of 16 Also Tap Up, Down, Left, or Right will quickly give you a random one of the four from that group. You could set UP for four different greeting emotes Set Left for 4 dances Set Right for 4 silly ones And Down for 4 Sit/chill ones. Or Taunts or whatever groups you like

  • Sheesh . Okay hold on what was the combo for unlimited emotes?? Why not just a wheel with less options? Press RB//LB to cycle through categories. Although the only time I've needed more emotes was at the tower and the menu was not a hassle

hi, Well if the combo on an emote wheel was hold down on Dpad then move stick to exactly 33° up and to the right, I guess the combo on my system would be hold down on the Dpad then press A. To me pressing A feels better than trying to get the correct angle on the stick. Just as easy, more precise

  • Way to over complicate it, just make it like all the other games do. Hold down on the D pad and use the right stick to pick the emote

Hello, Glad you commented! For me emote wheels with more than 8 options always feel like I'm fighting against them. It wants to center itself while I'm trying to get it to go to the upper diagonal. No, not the top one, not the lower diagonal, that's it the upper diagonal. 8 not bad but I want as many options as possible, getting the correct angle with 16s a little tricky for me. So, let's reinvent the wheel! I don't think holding down + A is really more complicated than holding down + moving the stick, but holding down + A would feel more solid an input to me than trying to get exactly 33°. With hold down + stick, that leaves up left and right on the Dpad doing nothing. So by doing the same thing with each direction you'd get the most accuracy, with the most options(16). I don't think it would take long to get used to, and would soon become 2nd nature Just my thoughts
