This goes for if you quit the lobby just because the map isn’t the one you want, or the gametype isn’t one you’re good at as well. Leaving a team with less people to play with is a scummy thing to do especially as the match is starting because the system won’t back out and look for new players. I was playing BTB on Halo the other month and by about halfway through we only had three people on our team because two people left before the match started and then other people got pissed and left during the match.
