I have an original bungie.net account from the early 2000s, it was connected to my old Microsoft account for xbox live and halo 2.
20 years later I am now trying to play Destiny 2 on PC after playing destiny 2 on PS4 since release. How is it, that a game this company no longer works on, for a company they havent been apart of for years, is the reason I can't enjoy their new game on PC? How is the system set up so that I can't move content from one platform to another that has nothing to do with Microsoft? I have never played Destiny on an xbox or with a Microsoft account, yet there is no way for me to dissconnect the account unless I go back in time and ask 12 year old me to make a password Ill remember/store for 20+ years for future database migrations.
Am I completly out of luck when it comes to cross saving?

6 RespuestasHi there! You should be able to reset the password for your Microsoft account through the Microsoft site. If you have forgotten your username, you can also retrieve your login information from the Microsoft site as well.

I'm starting a new character on PC. I enjoy playing on PC too much to go back PS4. I'll lose out on a bunch of stuff I bought and all my exotics and triumphs and rep with vendors but its better than dealing with this! Appreciate all the help.
