Can we talk about low level survival griefing and sealclubbing?

So more often than not, I find myself fighting very high ranked or high skilled players in PVP while trying to work on my own skills. Much higher skilled players with millions in their kill counts are down here in with me an the scrubs using underlight or blue equipment to deliberately game the crucible's match maker. Its one thing to be a new light, but absolutely no one should be in a competitive playlist using gear that drops their like to 1295 or lower. Am i wrong in feeling that way?

But it’s up to other players to use whatever they deem fit, whether it’s underpowered gear, meta stuff or shatterdive as a hunter. Not their problem if you don’t like it (unless of course it’s used to gain unfair advantage through abusing game mechanics, like sword-peeking etc). I’m not sure, however, that dropping power level does anything in the competitive playlist, since the MM is rather based on scores like K/D, ELO or something alike, and not Power Level. But I might be wrong. As for you facing players with a ton of kill count - that’s pretty much the grudge that quite a big chunk of community has with Crucible. High-skilled players are tired of being matchmade with blueberries they have to carry, and low-skilled/casual players are fed up with being cannon fodder. Consider the fact that a lot of people prefer to stay clear of Crucible, as there’s no way for them to learn with a steady and balanced progression - or play it casually with people on their skill level for that matter - so as a result the active player pool keeps on shrinking, which, beside the issues it brings to the PvP experience (laggier games, longer matchmaking queues etc), it also makes you face the higher skilled players more and more often, which further decreases the enjoyability of the playlist for many.
