I loved halo 4, had some good fun on that
-
Take out the loadouts and the ordnance drops and Halo 4’s multiplayer was actually fire.
-
Nah keep loadouts
-
I mean the ordinance drops were nice because the game wasn't so boring and predictable since you couldn't just camp fixed power weapon spawns like in the old ones. Way more strategic. But the custom load outs, yeah that was stupid
-
There was nothing strategic about random drops for your kill streaks lmao.

Editado por azo the gayzo: 12/31/2021 10:15:29 AMThere was always different weapons in different parts of the map all the time so you were always playing around new situations. It wasn't just using power weapons to secure other weapon spawns like in the older halos. That's just so predictable and simple. Positioning was way more important in H4 like on h3 pit there's a reason why nobody goes into the mid building because there's a sword spawn there

Please just never call complete, utter RNG “strategic”. It’s not strategic when I get a plasma pistol and the other guy get an incineration cannon.
-
Editado por azo the gayzo: 12/31/2021 2:03:31 PMThat's definitely annoying but that's way more strategic than being spoonfed intel by fixed weapon spawns every game Someones gets sniper top construct theres no thinking involved you simply don't go up there and challenge with a br unless you're in a low skill bracket Just a matter of taste. What halo problems you want to put up with
-
It’s not strategic. Holding known spawns where everyone is on equal grounds has strategy to it. Hoping that you get a real power weapon drop isnt strategic.
-
I mean you're not just hoping for a good drop like it drops stuff at controlled rates Even then that's infinity slayer not regular slayer And there's still spawn trapping in h4 if that's what you're into
-
I don’t think you know what strategic means.
-
Editado por azo the gayzo: 1/1/2022 12:42:06 AMI criticize h3 for being way too campy and I'm told idk what strategy is lmao But feel free to explain
-
Editado por f3: 1/1/2022 1:56:04 AMThe RNG in Halo 4 doesn’t add any degree of strategy. It does the exact opposite, and that’s where you confused. Random drops make it so you can’t rely so much on “strategy.” It adds more variety, sure, but not strategy. But it’s still Halo, dude. You’re pretending like Halo 4 revolutionized the -blam!-ing franchise. There were still fixed spawns. People still spammed grenades. The only difference is every now and then a Needler or some -blam!- would spawn in a random place. Wow. XCOM, look out.
-
That's the whole point. You have to strategize on the fly instead of rely on intel that's handed to you every game because the variety of weapons forces you into match ups you're not comfortable with. And you might not be in the right part of the map depending on what gun you had. Not something og halos had. It wasn't just the same old fight for controlling the same old spawn points every single game. Less of a problem in h4. Just because you prefer one form of strategy doesn't mean it's the only form of strategy. And also the ttk was much quicker in h4 which made power weapons and grenade spam less important since you could get killed quicker by stock primary, and you also couldn't get hard flanked like a idiot and simply walk of shame away from gunfights so often. Positioning was way more important. So yeah they kinda did revolutionize halo. Not every change was good obviously but they at least took a shot at making things less stale.

Better than 5

A lot of things are better than h5
