  • I mean I can definitely get why people do it, sometimes meeting random people can be fun or yield interesting results. Raids though, might not be the boat I want to die on.

  • I hope you can try again. Raids are a lot of fun with the right group. If you have a successful run, dont be afraid to send a friend request so you can play with each other in the future.

  • Well of course, lovely idea and I do plan on trying again when I can though. I enjoy new experiences with people, one can only hope the team would stay together for future use however.

  • Sherpa runs are the key. They can be rare, but they are out there, especially on the weekends. Typically expectations should be low, so there should be less rage quitting. Good luck!

  • Before i raid, i decide if I want to study up on the raid before hand or if you want to go in blind. If you study up, you can be prepared, have the right guns and armor, and have a general idea of what you're doing. If you go in blind, you better be good at receiving verbal instructions. When i look for a sherpa raid: Go on LFG and find a group where there is a host helping an inexperienced friend. These are rare, so don't give up, keep looking. (If i dont see one, i do a strike or a pvp match and look again) This is a great spot for you to jump in and also be inexperienced. Be sure to tell them that you also need help. When they are telling you what to do, don't be watching YouTube or play on your phone, respect the time of the Sherpa, they are volunteering to help people. When instructions are over, I repeat back what that person said and ask any questions that I might have. When you wipe, aka start over, be sure to ask if there was anything you could do to improve.

  • I've met and played with so many cool people on LFG. On occasion, i will do a KWTD run and beat it easily, or wipe a few times or not at all. I tend to join Sherpa runs, so that i can help the sherpa make the raid run smoother. Raid matchmaking would probably be so terrible. Theres nothing wrong with LFG, i have a very high success rate using it.
