Blinking out of existence?
So, I've seen something happen 3 times this morning; guardians blinking out of exsistence.
The reason I'm posting it here is that I'm not sure if it's some hidden/new ability/combo (I know exotics can improve blink), the network (because I mean... we know its an issue), or some cheat/exploit (granted this isn't anything like borderline invincibility, insta-supers, or full-auto Vex Mythoclast).
While in Crucible (2 times in Control, 1 in Elimination) I saw Hunters blink and then just.... disappear? Granted, I know blink can be pretty effective, but I mean they were gone and halfway across the map. Like this would be an insane distance to travel with blink.
In my context, I was doing the good ol' shotgun-punch method. The hunter would come around the corner, I would pop up and shoot them, then they would suddenly jump and blink and that was that. I confirmed one ended up halfway across the map because they killed a teammate who was clear on the other side seconds after I shot them.
It's annoying but effective. If it was an ability I'd definitely use it; you can blink significantly farther, however, end up somewhere random. Blink with no directional control. If this is some cool combo, does anyone have details on it?

3 RespuestasWell, seeing as how hunters don’t have access to blink, they were either badly lagging or cheating or both. Dedicated Pvp servers should be nexons “renewed” pvp focus next year.

Again, I think this would be a pretty neat upgrade for blink - but I also can't tell if this is cheating. I tried looking it up - but nothing really fit. I kept getting results for blinking icons. I think, if it was an ability, it would be pretty neat. You'd have to use it cautiously because while you could use it to avoid danger, you could put yourself in more danger if you suddenly blinked and ended up surrounded by enemies - or worse, falling off the map or into some backroom/liminal space. Granted, if you can double-blink you could end up saving yourself from that.
