Missing Characters, Silver & DLC

Hi, Last year my computer experienced catastrophic system failure (black screen of death). It's only been about 2 months since I've had my windows reset & computer running again at the expense of losing all my files. During this time Bungie decided to migrate from Battle.net to Steam and unfortunately I was not able to complete the task as 1. I was not aware of the move and 2. Didn't have access to my computer. I have lost all my characters, items, silver & DLC content that I paid for & earnt. I have tried lodging a ticket with Bungie under the general section however got replied with "request is invalid and will not be investigated as it concerns an issue that is off-topic to the contact form used to submit the help request." At this point I don't believe Bungie even wants to investigate my situation let alone communicate with me for that matter. This is really disappointing as a day 1 Destiny player, having owned all the DLC in both D1 & D2, I am getting no support. If you know anything that might assist me, please let me know. Thank you.

  • Hello. The migration period from Battle.net to Steam ended on December 1, 2020, and can't be extended or turned back on. It's now impossible to transfer your account, purchases, and characters over. From September 2019-December 2020, many emails, social media messages, and in-game notices were sent out. You will have to create a new account on Steam with new characters if you'd like to play Destiny 2 again.
