I'm on a quest to beat DS1, DS2, DS3, Bloodbourne, Sekiro, and Demon Souls before the release of Elden Ring in 2022 [ed. mis-typed as '2020' in original post].
I've played all the above games bar Demon Souls but have never finished any of them. Farthest I ever got was ringing the church bell in DS1.
Elden Ring looks amazing, but as with many games these days I get the feeling it's intended to be a different sort of experience (games having a 5+ year lifecycle has really changed design, some for better some for worse.)
I'd love to play it when it comes out because I love being a part of the soulsbourne community and would enjoy getting to play and discover things about the game at the same time as everyone else.
I started this quest towards the end of last month, but this is when it really begins.
6 months. 6 gruelling games. All DLC.

2 RespuestasI’m just beating DS3 on NG+1, finished the game a few days ago. | Note: -blam!- Ashes (Or however you spell them) break the game

2 RespuestasI'm pretty much on the same trip except I'm new to the DS3 DLC and Sekiro. I'd recommend playing in order of release though, the evolution is very on the nose.
