I love the creeping Vex simulation effects in the Tower.
I thought I was imagining these at first, but it looks like it's definitely something intended. The City isn't just dark, but the Tower itself is getting infected by the lines of light, etc, that happen when Vex formations come into existence. It makes the threat of what they are doing to the City much more real. I hope that the simulation effects get even stronger until the end of the season when the Vex are defeated.
But how would we even be sure of that? Maybe the Vex will actually win and just sideline the Guardians in a simulation where they think they've won. Now that would be a twist. The next season could be like The Matrix, where, like Neo, the Guardians finally realize they are living in a simulation and need to break out. That would be cool.

Glad you like it, I find it annoying, it's like when they put film grain in graphics, so annoying.
