Do I even really need to add anything? We! Need! More! Vault! Space! There's people who keep sunset gear because they bear memories. There's people who keep interesting weapon-rolls of weapons they might never use but they could become useful sometime. There's people who do both. And I lost count of how often I have already had to go through my Vault and destroy weapons and armor pieces that might come in handy sooner or later or bore memories. What's even better is, that you dear Bungie-Devs have decided to release playlist-specific loot with 12x12 trait combinations, some better, some worse, but people are stacking up the Frozen Orbits and the Bottom Dollars because of the sheer amount of different random rolled combinations they can have. That all while sunsetting has been sunset itself by now which means the old weapons that have not been sunset will still be useful in future expansions which are bound to release even more weapons and armors. Have I mentioned the new Armor system and its role in the Vault Space yet? Given the fact that we now have the goal of hitting triple 100 stats and still have decent other ones all the while we might want to keep the possibility to switch between armor pieces and the corresponding energy types for the diversity of raid- and activity-specific mods we are bound to have more than one full set of everything, which (surprise) clogs up the Vault Space... While I have no idea whatsoever about how the Vault has been coded all it should take is changing one small variable from 500 to 1000 and we'd all be happy for another two years... And if it is about the Data that has to be kept due to even more weapons and armor pieces lying around, afaik over 4 years ago when D2 was released we had 500 Vault Space too, and in the meantime the cost of Disk Space has decreased by a lot, so that should not be the issue either. In hopes of finding more approval, all the best from me.
