Slug shotguns have 13m cap outside of chaperone with roadborne active. Pellet shotguns have a 9m range cap with most pellet shotties not even being able to go past 7.5-8 meters so no they don't need a range nerf. You just need to stop letting your opponents close caps and either resort to a fusion rifle, sidearm or last word.

  • Well I agree adapting play still is needed, with weapons such as 120’s and all maps being close-close/medium range, there is a limit to what you can actually adapt before it becomes irrelevant

  • Not necessarily. Take anomaly for example. Let's say you're playing hunter. A person on the enemy team is rocking a TP/felwinters and they keep bussin your ass inside by the turbine. What would you're solution there be? Anomaly is a map that doesn't have a high ceiling and it's very compact. My solution if I'm running hunter and wearing Stomp-EE5 as 90% of hunters do, with the map not having a high ceiling and being very corner heavy first thing I would do is look at my jump. Low ceiling eliminates high jump and triple jump, so the best option there would be strafe jump. why? Because strafe jump allows you to cut corner angles that top tree dawn could only ever dream up. You get in an engagement and you're low on health having a jump that makes it easier to cut corners is going to save you in a tight knit space. Secondly, look at where you're losing your engagements. Turbine cuz you keep getting shotgunned. Are you going to keep going inside to your opponents advantage or will you play to the outside and make them come to you where you have the more free range of motion? Those should always be the first things when you come into a situation like that.

  • Regarding the amount of mobility you have in destiny in combination with map design it's easy to get in sg range People crying about destiny is too ability heavy while point&clicking with fellwinter is next-level hypocracy If you keep the range make the handling harder so that you at 180 in a blink of a second
