I feel myself getting closer and closer to the same fate. I still feel the seasonal model is kind of crap. This season, at least so far, is a cut and paste copy of last season with a different coat of paint. Maybe it will get better but after doing the override event 5 times I'd rather not do it again, yet that's what I'm meant to do. Grind the hell out of it. I just feel like the seasonal model exists because Bungie want to charge x amount every 3 months, not because they feel like that's a realistic timeframe for them to make engaging content (because it's not, there's been way more bad seasons than good). I don't mind some old stuff returning for the sake of nostalgia, but the sheer amount of stuff we've been re-sold from D1 is just reaching silly levels now. It's prety clear why too, Bungie are using re-skinned content to flesh out seasons. Easier than making actual new content. I also still really grudge that loads of content that I actually bought is gone. No other game I've ever played has done that. Aside from that, I'm just really, really fed up of paying for the game (I've bought every expansion, every season) and feeling like I'm being treated like a F2P player. Eververse just gets worse and worse and bungie are about to break yet another of thier promises (how many is that now? Lost count) on EV by putting current event themed loot in there (VOG pack) just out of pure greed. Don't even get me started on transmog. They are reaching EA levels of greed and doing it with a smile on thier face. The trajectory of the franchise isn't leading to a place I want to go, so it's probably sooner rather than later I'll be doing the same as you. Shame, D1 showed so much promise only for most of it to be pissed away by greed.
