The thought process was they dropped the light level grind to ten points from fifty.
Of course they were going to take pinnacle options away. Can't have everyone at 1320 by week three.

The pinnacle cap was always ten. That is correct, but the 50 point bump that came along with it wasn't worth it. When people hit the pinnacle cap, that's when playtime decreases.

I kinda disagree, when we hit Pinnacle cap is when you can start playing with a list of chores first. Your level is up on all your gear and you can run with different loadouts and try new sh!t because your no longer "struggling". Just my opinion. This is slso why I do all my new Triumphs/challenges as soon as I can. Then you can play with more freedom, so to say.

Because bungie always gives and takes. Just like shaders costing more now. They always do this and it’s not a surprise anymore. I felt something like this was gonna happen when they made the LL grind “smaller”.
