I can see a lot of other gamers defend this transmog system by saying armor are ugly. There is no issue of doing all. Why make an issue, there is no issue at all. You only need to transmog a few. 😂😂😂 Everything is subjective. You can't put people in a box and tell them this is how you should play the game. That is wrong. My reasoning for objecting to this type of transmog system is that the game offers loot as rewards. Media even sometimes say this is a looter shooter type of game. And as such loot is regarded as rewards for doing stuff. My biggest gripe is I'm not paying for loot rewards again whether they are weapons, or cosmetics, or old rehashed activities. I've played the game, earned my rewards, and most importantly supported the game by always paying for the game so I can enjoy the loot and support the game at the same time. Neither is grinding or limiting it with a cap any good for cosmetics we've already unlocked and acquired in the game. This is not new. You are not making a new design. Everything that's already in the game and have been paid for are already in the game. You are not making it new. Especially when the Transmog Technology is already in the game for FREE being used by gamers for several years now. This is not about what's good cosmetics or what's ugly. This is about my ability to use cosmetics that I've unlocked over the years as rewards for activities I've already paid for and enjoyed doing and sometimes already grinded for. It's not about that some are ugly and that it's useless to use them. It's about my ability to use any cosmetics I've collected if I want to. I don't care if they are ugly. If I want to wear them because I want to show that I did collect them and to show that I was there when it happened, then I should be able to do that. That's what loot means, and that's what a reward mean. That has always been the case with loot on this game or other games. If you can't do that, then everything that you do at this point is pointless. If loot you've unlocked is pointless and useless, then the objective of playing a looter is already pointless! If loot is pointless in a looter type game, then this only means one thing. GREED! That's the only point for this entire exercise. We did our part, paid the game, earned the loot, even grinded for some. If it's pointless, then all things only lead to GREED at this point! 😂😂😂 Logic!

  • yea why buy a nice house with much space when you can live in a cardboard box with a 100/100 line going in with a open fire inside.

  • They make the grind unbearable and the other option is to buy it with real money. LMAO! This is what they're celebrating for when Activision left?😆 Pathetic!

I wonder how many actual Bungie employees are using Alt accounts on this forum or how many people they have doing their dirty work. Anyone that actually gives a flying hoot about the game wouldn't be supporting this greed. Oh get this, someone posted the VoG rewards are locked behind Eververse. WTF is this BS they are pulling?

  •
I wonder how many actual Bungie employees are using Alt accounts on this forum or how many people they have doing their dirty work.
Alt accounts galore! And they all come out when there is an issue like this defending the game they made with Greed! 😂😂😂 It's pathetic! 😂😂😂
Anyone that actually gives a flying hoot about the game wouldn't be supporting this greed. Oh get this, someone posted the VoG rewards are locked behind Eververse. WTF is this BS they are pulling?
Of course. At this point, if they can monetize anything from 3 years old armor and transmog technology that's already used for FREE in the game for several years now, it wouldn't surprise me what dumb money making scheme they'll come up next! GREED will ooze everywhere no matter how much they hide it! 😂😂😂 Logic!

Of all of my years in multiple fields, including psychology, I/T, and "ethical hacking"/testing, I've learned it can be far easier to engineer a person than develop a more effective product. While I don't think Bungie employees use alts, I do believe they hire a formidable marketing strategy team which may outsource people who do post things from time to time. This way, they only pay when a topic needs a distraction or alternative point of view.

  • So overall it's called a manipulation. Bungie has been using this to their advantage more so than they have ever done in D1 and it shows throughout the entire game.

I've given Bungie's marketing team a LOT of credit when I see how easily players just take what Bungie states as truth. The ability they have to manipulate its customers speaks for itself. It is smart business, and turns a pretty profit.

That is where I'm having a problem with this game and company. I use to play Destiny a lot but then D2 was created with all these unnecessary changes that seem to mainly only benefit the company.
