This is just my opinion, but instead of asking for old shaders why not ask for new, unique ones to be brought in? ones with cool effects/different color combinations that can be tied to player-friendly triumphs. Think of something like superblack but it also displays dark aura like that of a solstice glow. Or, cool new ornaments instead of armor sets for playlist activites instead of bringing back old y1-y2 ones. I'm spit balling ideas here, my point being that I think we should leave those exclusive cosmetics to the players who were there and suggest new, attractive ones.

Making the currently in game ones available is a few button presses. Which is vastly more easier then making new shaders. 🤦

That's obviously an oversimplication of the process to enabling existing shaders, but feel free to read my reply to Kel's installment to this discussion.

Not by much though. Enabling something to be available is easy and far easier then making something new. You cited time investment but it’s not very accurate way to describe it. You could of simply logged on during a week where a shader was on sale for bright dust in EV or got lucky and found it the first run in an activity. Everyone’s time investment varies. So really it’s just ‘you were around during such and such time’ merit badge.
You cited time investment but it’s not very accurate way to describe it.
Everyone’s time investment varies. So really it’s just ‘you were around during such and such time’ merit badge.
I've already addressed this... Twice. *Edit; formating

I don’t care what you said to someone else. Say whatever you want. Making new ones is more work then enabling old ones.

I'm going to have to agree to disagree because if not you'll keep looping around irrelevant replies. ✌️🙄

Who was the one talking about irrelevant replies? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Glad you walked right into that. 🤡

That’s not really an apt argument. The shaders exist and are there for those who unlocked them, there’s no reason not to make them obtainable to everyone seasons later. We’re not talking about bringing back D1 exotics or maps, they’re things that already exist in the game and just aren’t obtainable to those who didn’t get them originally

I understand they're in game right now and came to my previous conclusion based on the middle ground of new players wanting nice shaders and older ones who's time investment remains valid. I personally think it's OK not to have older cosmetic items in a game if you've just started or took a break from, but that's just me. That said, I know there will most likely be a point some if not all of the earlier shaders will cycle though in some fashion because the likeliness of the creating something very flashy and coveted is slim to none.
