Purchased a cosmetics pack from the store but it's not showing up on my inventory...

Pretty much what the title is saying. I purchased an armor pack from the store but it's not showing up in my game! Please help me Bungie. Also I am barely starting out the game, if that is a detail that helps

  • When you buy items with silver, they first appear as a package in your consumables screen. From there, you can choose to refund the package for up to seven days, or you can open it. Once you open it, the contents become available for use. In the case of ornaments, the will appear in your inventory in the screen below your consumables. In that screen, you can choose the unlock option on each ornament, which will remove it from that screen, purely to free up space on that screen. The ornaments will appear in the customaztion screen of any applicable weapons or armor.

    • Heyo! Welcome to the game. First, make sure that you’ve opened the pack from your inventory. Second, you can change the look of any legendary (purple) piece of armor by inspecting it, paging down, and equipping the ornament there. That’s where you’ll ‘equip’ the new armor you bought. Your character currently only has one piece of legendary armor at the moment, so only that piece can equip the new ornaments you bought.
