Can I ask at least what your NAT is and if you are wired or wireless
English
-
It is all in the linked post. NAT is Open, I am wired.
-
I do know that consoles have been getting errors constantly so it’s likely an issue between Microsoft and Bungie connection wise. You didn’t list your speed download and upload in your other post but with xfinity I’m guessing it’s not slow.
-
I just updated it. 789.32 Mbps is the lowest it goes when running the game. 13.51 Mbps average upload. 58ms Latency, 0% Packet Loss
-
Are you absolutely certain that isn’t 790kbps?
-
Yes I’m 100% certain. I can include photographic proof if needed.
-
There is the photo. I can only really share it this way but in the photo, test done literal seconds ago, it says 748.23Mbps download 13.84Mbps upload 0% Packet Loss 53 ms Latency 1480 MTU
-
790 Down and 13 Up??? That difference in speed is asking for trouble....
-
Is that the speed you actually pay for download and upload?
-
Download yes. Upload I pay for 30 but it fluctuates.
-
Bungie is investigating a problem with Xfinity as the ISP causing Baboon errors.
-
If it’s fluctuating more than 50% like it’s doing per your first reported post then it’s still something wrong on your end. Yes Bungie has issues but if you are having spikes down from 30 to under 15 then that’s partly your isp dropping connections on your end
-
Just want to point out an upload speed of over 10 has literally never been an issue with this game or any other I’ve played, and I highly doubt it fluctuating between 15 and 30 would cause this kind of connection issue. That being said I’m definitely not an expert, I just can’t see how it correlates especially since these issues popped up for numerous players around the same time.

Let’s put it this way, I got fluctuations like this about a year and a half ago which would cause constant disconnects from any game but mostly destiny. Doing tests I found out it wasn’t my modem but the connection I had to the post. It took me 3 technicians to get the issue resolved and haven’t had issues since. Calling my isp just to reset it didn’t help so I had to force them to come to my house to do proper maintenance. Haven’t had any disconnects since. My download fluctuated from 150 to 50 and my upload from 50 to 10 during this issue.
