If he's selling something that you don't have, buy it first. That will keep you from getting it when you buy the engram.

You'd think but i had one in the Vault already. 🤷🏼♂ I always make a point to buy what's not already in Collections to, i thought, keep this from happening. And when it comes to my Hunter main, i have gotten everything to date.

Oh, I see, you bought it knowing you'd get a duplicate because you already have everything. Yeah, I get where you're coming from in that case. Typically, it's people who don't have everything yet who screw themselves out of two new items by buying the engram first, and getting one of the items that's for sale.

Yeah. I'm getting the other class items too, just in case now. Only my Titan is mainly incomplete (Warlock is missing one item).

To save you some potential headaches, in case you weren't aware, Stormdancer's Brace is a reward for finishing Shadowkeep as a warlock, so no need to grind, hoping for it to drop.
