Cannot get to character select!

Randomly just after daily reset today I got kicked from the game, since then (going on nearly 2 hours now) I haven't been able to log back in. I get past the 'Shadowkeep' title screen and it says "connecting" down the bottom left, then it says [quote][b]ATTENTION: Destiny 2 servers are not available. Dismiss this message to try again.[/b][/quote] So far I have tried doing a hard reset on my Xbox, cycling my router and clearing the cache. My co-op partner has no issue getting on and all other online games, as well as my PC are working fine with the connection. Please help.
