Warden's Law does half damage with Unstoppable Rounds. Also, a long-considered suggestion.

The Warden's Law, which was supposed to be one of the most interesting Nightfall exclusives, is still broken. Upon activating the U.S Round, hitting a precision shot does a single target value of 55.5% the intended damage, and a body shot does 50% damage. The explosive damage split doesn't appear to occur at all. Besides the seemingly and relatively normal bug-fix for U.S Rounds required, this archetype deserves sunshine and a cleansing, regardless of this weapon being sunset this fall. I propose [b]2[/b] things for a fair and deserved fix. 1) Make Double Fire produce [b]two[/b] precision shot values [i]instead of one[/i], and add Rapid hit to the 1st Trait spot (where Zen Moment is). This change would make Rapid Hit proc twice per shot if both Double Fire bullets hit the same critical spot, and provides more clarity to the general idea of Double Fire. Damage will remain unaffected by this change, while providing the boost to immediate stability for a 110 rpm that only the Duke Mk. 44 gets to thrive upon. 2) Give each frame [b] their own min/max range values[/b], [i]instead of sharing one min/max value[/i] across one weapon type. This would properly address the Hand Cannon range patch of 2.6.0.1 (a.k.a. The 3-meter Difference) by giving the Devs the abilities to properly adjust range of individual frames (i.e. give Aggressive/Double Fire HC's more range like a 28m-32m min/max, different than the other HC frames), keep whatever feels right the same, and moving forward, [i]adjust frames more comprehensively[/i] [b]without affecting a whole weapon type[/b] to easier achieve the goal of [u]balance[/u]. Thanks for reading this post! I truly hope the bug is fixed, the suggestions at least considered by the good folks at Bungie and are well received by the community. I genuinely feel that this would be a very positive move, especially with the new content in mind. I can only wish for future developments. With Warden's Law, its shots have some shotgun behavior due to how the bullets come out at the same time and that's what causes the two bullets to deal one combined damage value on full precision hits and count as one hit. If I remember right, it used to be able to roll Fourth Time's the Charm and the idea was that two full shots landing precision hits would give you both of those bullets back. It sounded like synergy with the perk and that hand cannon archetype. But due to some technical issues, they couldn't get it to work and ended up replacing a couple of perks on it. Apparently those technical issues expand to Unstoppable Rounds on it as well. A lot of people think they might be trying to move on from that weapon archetype since it didn't quite play out that well.
