Why we need Darkness subclasses:

Since Forsaken. Due to Forsaken, what why the first Tagline we got? “The Line is so very thin, which side are you on?” Etc. Then Gambit, the Dredgen title. We all thought malfeasance was the new thorn. Then season of the drifter, the allegiance quest, thorn. We all thought this was Bungie actually letting us pick drifter or the vanguard. But it was purely cosmetic. Shin reveals he wants us to wield both light and dark. How can we do that without access to the dark at all. Opulence. We find out Calus knows the darkness. We can work him, though the vanguard doesn’t like it. He’s an envoy of the darkness, he wants the pyramids here. Shadowkeep. THE Pyramid, and the biggest piece of lore from the Dakrness itself in the Unveiling lore book: The darkness wants us on their team, and their coming to earth to ask us in person. Garden of salvation lore tabs: a group of guardians DO harness dark powers and are able to use them. This is evidence that it’s can be done’ by us normal guardians, not just shadows of Yor or drifter. Now in worthy, we know they’re coming, and soon. If there’s one thing this season about, it’s saying the pyramids will be here before Y4. If Bungie doesn’t give guardians the option it has been foreshadowing for over a year, then all I can say is that would be the biggest missed opportunity ever. And I probably would stop playing destiny because of it. If Bungie decides on the narrative of. All this teasing but we’ll set the final battle so you just kill the darkness and happy ending for all — that would be such a cop out. Let’s make Destiny great again, and it starts by letting players choose who they want to play for.
