Any Other Type 1 Diabetic Guardians Out There?
Just looking to connect with anyone who's in a similar situation as myself. I've been T1D since I was 3 (26 now), currently on the OmniPod and Fiasp. I live in the USA but have gotten my insulin from Canada before due to insulin prices being so goddamn high here.
No, for those uninformed, type 1 is not type 2 - type 1 is hereditary, type 2 is onset, no diet can fix it (no matter what you've heard), no $25 WalMart insulin will not do, no there's no cure.

Type 2, but it is under control now and I have dropped 50 lbs thus far! shooting for another 30 before I am happy.
