There will always be must haves so you don't need to nerf every good gun in the game... On a scale I'd say guns no one wants are a 20 and guns like erentil are a 100... Pre nerf Luna was a 110 and Lord of wolves was a 150... Just so you know 200 is raid red screen level of broken... I think this game should aim for a 100 instead of what your going for being a 50 at best... We need more guns like erentil... Balence isn't fun competition is so it doesn't matter how strong are guns get as long as we can compete with each other instead of feeling like I'm play rock, paper, scissors and I don't have rock. The most important think is to remember why we play games in the first place, most of us play game for fun so make your game fun... Imagine if most of your guns had the potential to be on the level of erentil like you get a badlander that drops with perks that take it to that level that might be fun, to do this you need to copy D1 with the factions and vendors with weekly weapons and weapon bounties and the perk pool needs to go from 40 perks to 200 with most of those being copied from D1 perks, the chase should be for weapon perk synergy like slide shot with opening shot also you would need to expand the pool for most the guns themselves as I don't think right now a badlander can even roll with slide shot and opening shot. Edit 1:i know what I'm asking for will probably never happen because I'm asking bungie to un nerf 90% of the nerfs they nerfed with exceptions like Lord of salt cus like I said that was almost instant death but un nerfing perks like smooth bore so we have more options and the perks have more Impact on gameplay.
