Way to go bungie. Make people lose sleep for 5 days to get a weapon 8 days early. I can't speak for the streamers, but I bet they are cool with it. They made new friends and a crap ton of money from the community this week, and that's cool for them, but damn.. All that for basically nothing. That's just a crappy thing to put us all through.

There isn't a thing in this world the outcome of this quest could've been that people you like wouldn't have complained about

Editado por Demon_XXVII: 1/21/2020 2:14:24 PM@Bungie So we used the corridors of time to accelerate the timeline, by completing a puzzle, receiving the Bastion Weapon 8 days early What kind of puzzle can we hope to get to accelerate the timeline forwards to when Luke Smith is fired, Armour 2.0 is actually worth it, the game has had a vendor refresh, there’s been a huge QoL update, PvP is on dedicated servers & D2 is actually in a good place with new content and story arcs that are completed & make sense ? When?? (Because I’ll grind the shite outta that puzzle!)

Editado por Shaxappeal: 1/21/2020 3:46:58 AMHonestly my guy they don’t give a -blam!-,best thing we can do is copy and paste bungos mindset.Games dead, seasonal content proves it

Big streamers were making 30-40 THOUSAND dollars a day apparently... Sickening world.
-
If Bungie “made” you lose sleep over this then you have an addiction and you need to seek professional help for it.

#NotMyFavoriteWeapon It should've been a new Exotic Sword, just as the Saint-14 dialogue hinted it would be. Marked our grave with our favorite weapon, that used to be his. Saint-14 sword on the coffin match the Saint-14 swords in the hangar. Now imagine a timeline where the players said "Meh, we won't do this puzzle". And we all patiently waited for the 28th to roll out and Bungie's script activated the start of the quest line at Saint-14 automatically as scheduled. (Bungie is only saying that we "unlocked the Exotic for all" to save face of what a total let down the secret Exotic was supposed to be.) All that hard work into making the puzzle and then for us to solve it, ultimately useless. Just there to give us something to do, outside of the game. Kind of like a filler episode arc that has no meaning to the actual story.

To be fair, they told people not to lose sleep. But money calls. So guess who didn't sleep. Also, i did nothing but wait. Can't complain. But then again I don't expect the world to cater my every need either.

I mean, they said it was a marathon, not a sprint. It is not Bungie’s fault there were people who would not sleep until they solved the puzzle as fast as humanly possible. To be honest, I am wondering if Bungie had set things up so that the quest/puzzle would get something new today Bungie intended to be needed to solve the puzzle. Figuring it would take people until closer to the 28th to solve it. But it was actually possible to solve it MUCH earlier.

Based on feedback collected during the "Corridors of Time" from this season, we’ll be adding quests through portions of the Corridors that require the exact code to venture into "The Vault..." as one of many locations in the Destiny Universe. We weren’t able to deploy this change instantly due to the community's tireless effort to sprint past the finish line with a recent puzzle, but we can promise this change as a first step to unlocking time on the next reset. This gives us time to thank the guardians that have stayed with us during the changes for the next Season. Enjoy past exotics that await you in time because you'll never know what can't be explained now will be explained in time...

Not defending bungie, but nobody forced them to lose sleep solving the thing. Hubris to be the first at something deserves no pity.
-
Way to go bungie. Make people lose sleep for 5 days
Bungie specifically told people to not lose sleep over that, so that’s their fault.
-
Bungie has been having a lot of Bethesda moments in recent years.
-
They weren't low enough ... I didn't log on until yesterday and didn't get the gun until today (immediately sharded it).
-
Can’t really blame bungie because streamers were too stupid to go to bed
-
I thought this would lead to a new dungeon like zero hour or a raid liar. If you see all the work that was put in for this puzzel.

Editado por SpartanLegend_27: 1/21/2020 4:04:11 AM"Make people lose sleep" as if Bungie held a gun to their heads and made them devote every living hour to the puzzle. Anyone who lost sleep over the puzzle did it of their own volition. It's their fault if they damn near keeled over for this thing. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a huge fan of Bastion either. But don't blame Bungie for player's unwillingness to chill.
-
Didn’t read about it ,didn’t attempt it ! Easiest way not to be disappointed lol
-
As a streamer promotion tactic, it worked exactly how they wanted it to.
-
When you die, Bungie will let you down for one last time.
-
How many of you honestly contributed and of those who did, how many contributed in any meaningful way?
-
If you consider getting a new exotic a week early "low expectations", I'd hate to see what you consider normal ones.
-
What's the weapon?
-
Eh not even they are thrilled
-
Way to go,bungie. Make people lose sleep for 5 days to get a weapon 8 days early.
Lol. Ok.
-
Bungie and dmg told them to sleep, they never said stay up until your eyes bled, bungie doesent control what other streamers do,
-
I can't speak for the streamers . . . “ Sure you can. “This quest was ass sausage coming out of a shit fountain.”
